About BQS

Mission and vision

Who we are

Boston Qazaq School is a community education organization in Greater Boston. We exist so families can learn, celebrate, and pass on Qazaq culture together.

We began by gathering families who wanted a warm place for children to learn Qazaq language and culture. Weekend School brings children and families together for language, music, character, and cultural learning.

Mission

Why we exist

Boston Qazaq School aims to respond to the educational and cultural needs of Qazaq families in Greater Boston, and to promote cross-cultural awareness based on mutual respect and understanding of Qazaq culture across Massachusetts and New England.

We create a culturally comfortable place for children and parents to learn language, songs, stories, and traditions together through Weekend School.

Greater Boston families have built a growing network of cultural learning and community support. BQS contributes through schooling and structured learning, while staying open to collaboration across New England.
